laid back
The dreamy tones
of ecru, magnolia
and blue create a calm, harmonious and
light-filled space. For interest, paint your
room in three tones with white for the
trims and blue and buttery shades on
the walls. Note the change of colour
at picture-rail height. The stripped-back
windowsills, wood and wicker add texture.

inviting
A little paint goes a long way
when you
apply it deftly. Although used sparingly, pink
is the centre of attention here. It is carried
through in the blinds and a lone cushion,
then repeated in the flower arrangement
and tea set. These bright spots sparkle
against the neutrality of soft greys.
